School Rules - BITT Public School

  1. These rules are by no means exhaustive. They may be amended through notification henceforth. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for its breach.
  2. Students have to bring the diary daily to the school.
  3. Every student must carry his/her Identity card to the school daily.
  4. Students must speak English in the school and school bus.
  5. Students who do not use the transport facilities should ensure that they arrive at the school at least five minutes before the morning assembly. Parents/Guardians are expected to collect their ward from the school. No responsibility shall be taken for any child after the school hours.
  6. Students should be habitually clean and neatly dressed. The school uniform should be worn on all working days and for all school functions, unless notified otherwise. Students who are not in uniform will not be allowed to enter their classrooms and, in such cases, parents will be called to the schools to take back their ward back home.
  7. A person is judged by his/her manners. Every student shall always greet his/her teachers and elders warmly wherever they meet them, in the school and school bus. Disrespect towards the Principal, teachers or other school staffs will be considered as breach of conduct.
  8. Non-Sikh boys should get their hair trimmed at regular intervals.
  9. Students are strictly forbidden to bring mobile phones and other electronic gadgets to school.
  10. School shall not be responsible for the loss/damage of books, dress, money or any personal belongings of students. It is advisable not to bring any valuable articles to the school.
  11. To avoid accident or injury to oneself and others, students are not allowed to bring any weapons or sharp instruments such as blades, knives, needle, etc. to the school.
  12. Students who cause damage to property, by accident or otherwise, will have to pay for the recovery of the damage.
  13. Without the written permission from the Principal, no student will be allowed to leave the school during school hours.
  14. Students who, in the opinion of the school authorities, repeatedly violate school discipline are liable to be expelled.
  15. The name, class, section and roll number of the student should be clearly written on all his/her belongings.
  16. Parents/Guardians should ensure that their ward completes his/her homework daily.
  17. Parents/Guardians are expected to co-operate with the authorities of the school in enforcing discipline and observance of rules.
